Customize Forms with AI
Mixo’s AI Form Customization lets you generate fully structured forms just by describing what you need in plain language. Instead of manually adding and configuring each field, you can tell the AI what kind of form you want — and it will create the fields, labels, and structure for you in seconds.
This works for both creating brand-new forms and updating existing ones.

Step 1: Open the Form Editor
Log into your Mixo account and enter the Site Editor for the website you want to customize. Navigate to the form page you wish to edit and click “Edit”, or create a new form page first using “New Page”.

Step 2: Open the AI Form Creator
In the form editor, look for the AI sparkle button (✦) next to your form fields. Clicking it opens the AI Form Creator modal.
Step 3: Describe the Form You Need
In the text area, describe the form you want in natural language. Be as specific as you like — include the fields, purpose, and any details relevant to your use case.
Example descriptions:
- “A wedding photography enquiry form with date, venue, guests, budget and contact details”
- “A customer feedback survey with overall rating, what they liked, areas for improvement, and whether they would recommend us”
- “A job application form with full name, email, phone, position applied for, years of experience, and a cover letter message”
Quick Suggestions
Not sure where to start? The AI Form Creator includes quick suggestion buttons you can click to pre-fill common form descriptions:
- Contact form — name, email, phone, and message
- Quote request — project details, budget, timeline, and contact info
- Event booking — date, event type, guests, venue, and requirements
- Feedback survey — ratings, likes, improvements, and recommendations
- Job application — name, contact details, position, experience, and cover letter
- Appointment booking — preferred date/time, service type, and contact details
Click any suggestion to populate the description field, then tweak it to suit your needs.
Step 4: Generate the Form
Click Generate (or press ⌘ + Enter) to send your description to the AI. You’ll see a loading state while the AI designs the fields, labels, and structure.
Step 5: Review and Refine
Once generated, the new form fields will appear in the editor. You can:
- Reorder fields using the up/down arrows
- Edit labels and placeholders by clicking on individual fields
- Add or remove fields manually if you want to fine-tune the result
- Re-run the AI with a different description to try a new approach
Updating an Existing Form
If your page already has a form, the AI Form Creator will recognise the existing fields and update them based on your new description rather than starting from scratch. A notice at the top of the modal will show how many fields your current form has.
Step 6: Preview and Publish
Once you’re happy with the form, preview your page to check that everything looks right. When satisfied, click Publish to make your changes live.
Tips for Best Results
- Be specific — the more detail you provide, the better the AI can tailor the form to your needs.
- Include field types — mentioning things like “dropdown for budget range” or “checkbox for terms agreement” helps the AI choose the right field types.
- Iterate quickly — you can run the AI multiple times with different descriptions until you get exactly what you need.
- Combine with manual editing — use AI to generate the bulk of your form, then manually adjust individual fields for the finishing touches.
