One of the exciting benefits of signing up with us is that certain plans include a free one-year domain voucher, which you can use to obtain a professional domain name for your website. Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can claim your free domain.

Eligibility for the Free Domain Offer

Before we begin, please note that this offer applies to .com, .net, and .org domains and excludes premium domains. This offer is available with your first-time purchase of a qualifying Mixo plan and can only be applied to a new domain purchase, not a renewal.

Step-by-Step Guide to Claim Your Free Domain

Step 1: Select a Qualifying Mixo Plan

To claim your free domain, start by selecting a Mixo plan that includes the one-year free domain voucher. If you haven’t done so already, sign up for a Mixo account and purchase one of our qualifying plans.

Step 2: Access Your Mixo Site Editor

Once you’ve purchased your plan, log in to your Mixo account. On your sites list, select the website project to which you want to add your free domain and click on ‘Edit Site’ to enter the site editor.

Step 3: Go to the Domain Settings

In the site editor, click on ‘Customize Domain’. Here you’ll find the option to choose your free new domain for your website.

Step 4: Claim Your Domain Voucher

You will be prompted with a modal that lets you enter a domain to search for. Enter a domain name or search string and click “search” to proceed.

Step 5: Redirect to IONOS

You’ll be redirected to our domain partner, IONOS, to choose your domain name. Please ensure you are logged out of any existing IONOS accounts, as you need to claim the voucher using the link provided by Mixo to avoid any issues.

Step 6: Select Your Domain

Browse available domain names to choose the perfect match for your business or personal brand. Remember, your voucher applies to .com, .net, and .org domains outside of premium offerings.

Step 7: Checkout with IONOS

Once you’ve selected your domain, proceed to checkout with IONOS. Your Mixo voucher will be automatically applied, and you should see the cost of the one-year domain registration reduced to $0.00.

Step 8: Set Up Your Domain on Mixo

After the checkout process, return to Mixo, where your new domain will now be linked with your site. Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize the setup.

Step 9: Confirm Domain Activation

It may take some time for your domain to become fully active. Once activated, an email confirmation will be sent to your registered email address. Make sure to verify the domain through the email sent by IONOS to complete the domain registration process.
